With the new “Live Streaming”solution, we introduce today a brand-new live streaming service included to the platform!
On June 20th, we stopped our Free plan which included 3Gb of storage and with an access to the main features of the platform and an unlimited traffic.
This was not an easy decision. Here are the reasons why we have decided to stop it.
In a digital world where leaks can occur quickly, it is understandable that our users ask for the best protection for their audiovisual content.
We offer the possibility to protect videos with a username and a password. But is is also possible to secure the publication of the content thanks to IP filtering or geofiltering. Then, our users can decide on which domain names can their videos be watched.
From now on, our users can control these firewalls independently going to the "Firewalls" tab in the portal edition (accessible from the dashboard).

YouTube has announced its YouTube Red paid subscription service. Viewers will have the opportunity to watch videos offline, and enjoy a free of ads platform paying a monthly fee of $9.99.
More than a comfort option for the viewers, YouTube RED seems to be a real change for its development strategy. As a lot of new actors appear (Netflix, Twitch, Facebook), YouTube needs to confirm its supremacy.

The ergonomic revision in September and about 50 updates month after month marked this year. New features have seen the light of day, the support has been improved, and you oriented the future platform's updates with surveys, comments and suggestions .
You may have realized that Internet and Television are converging. We see Internet's codes in TV shows (Social TV, reactions on social networks ...) and TV shows are watched more and more on Internet (catch-up TV, podcasts, etc.)
The main symbol of this convergence is obviously video.

The latest updates of Google patented Page Rank algorithm have reshuffled the cards of SEO tried and tested practices, by significantly extending the “value” of third-party contents (articles, presentations, social productions…) produced around the domain.
Google recently stated on its blog targeted to Webmasters that websites' relevance in its index will from here on in depend on its “thematic” and no longer of its external and internal cross links only, what Serge Esteves comments on the French website le Journal du Net:
"Traditional PageRank was followed by the topic sensitive PageRank.The emphasis given to the content is now extending the work and the care taken in indexing to all third-party ressources related to the domain.
Not completely, but while the PageRanke is a purely quantitative algorithm based on the total number of inbound links and still forming an integral part of actual Google factors, the topic sensitive PageRank adds a significant amount of semantics and contextualization, in such a way that the same page can have two different PageRank, in relation to several different subjects.”
